About Us...
Fell House is family farm, run by John and Kay Hayward assisted by son Brendon and his wife, Sinead.
It is farmed tradionally in a low input manner. It consists of traditional farm meadows, and the medieval rig and furrow.
The farm has 250 pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd LadyCroft. The formation of which took place 41 years ago. The cattle and a handful of sheep are looked after as part of the family.
Having bought Fell House Farm in November 2020, an intensive program of wildlife development is underway. This includes the planting of wildlife corridors, shelter belts, wild flower strips along with bird and bug habitats. Fell House contains a vast array of birds and wildlife which are being nurtured. With the Hallington reservoirs nearby and being in the spectacular Northumberland countryside on the outskirts of the National park, the night skies provide a place of tranquillity we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy.
